These terms govern your use of CarbonSketch (carbonsketch.in), operated by Sustainability 1.0.1. By creating an account, you agree to them.
The service
CarbonSketch is a software tool that estimates the embodied carbon (A1–A3 Global Warming Potential) of building projects, aligned with IGBC v4 workflows, using material quantity data you provide and published emission factors for Indian materials.
CarbonSketch provides estimates, not certified assessments. Results depend on the accuracy of your inputs and on published emission-factor data, which changes over time. You are responsible for verifying results before using them in professional deliverables, certifications, or regulatory submissions.
Accounts
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be legally capable of entering a contract and provide accurate information.
Subscriptions and billing
CarbonSketch offers a Free tier and paid Basic and Pro subscription tiers, billed through Razorpay. Listed prices are inclusive of 18% GST. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Prices may change; we will notify you before a change affects your renewal. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share account access or resell the service;
- attempt to breach, probe, or overload our systems;
- upload content that is unlawful or that you lack rights to;
- scrape, copy, or redistribute our material database or emission-factor data;
- reverse-engineer the service.
Your data
You retain ownership of the project data you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the service to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarbonSketch is provided "as is". Sustainability 1.0.1 is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on carbon estimates produced by the tool. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
